I have a life long love of jewellery and 10 years ago started attending jewellery making classes at Mary Ward Centre in London. I also completed a City and Guilds qualification in Jewellery Design and Manufacture at City Lit Institute, London. I design and make jewellery using precious metals such as sterling silver and gold and base metals including copper and bronze. These are often complemented with semi precious stones.
My jewellery is often heavily textured using a variety of processes including hammering, milling, reticulation and fusing. Stones are semi precious and chosen for their vibrant colour. Inspiration comes from many different sources but colour and texture are the two most important design elements in my work.
